Important Notice: We’d like to inform all our customers that Louisiana and Texas counties were impacted from a time service standpoint due to the hurricane.

Courts in the following counties will be closed during the storm and could remain closed for several days due to the aftermath and potential flooding. We will provide further updates as more information is made available:

• Cameron, LA – Courts will be closed 08/25/2017
• Aransas, TX– Mandatory evacuation
• Bee, TX – Voluntary evacuation
• Chambers, TX – Voluntary evacuation
• Jackson, TX – Voluntary evacuation
• Kleberg, TX – Voluntary evacuation
• Matagorda, TX – Mandatory evacuation
• Refugio, TX – Mandatory evacuation
• San Patricio, TX – Mandatory evacuation

Please note that file retrieval and onsite court research will still be unavailable in these counties during the storm and evacuations:

• Brazoria, TX – Mandatory evacuation
• Calhoun, TX – Mandatory evacuation
• Cameron, TX – Voluntary evacuation
• Galveston, TX – Voluntary evacuation
• Harris, TX – Voluntary evacuation
• Nueces, TX – Mandatory evacuation
• Victoria, TX – Mandatory evacuation

Minor delays may occur for some searches and may also affect verification calls in these areas. As a result, the closures may affect background report turnaround time.
